Welcome! I\u2019m Sheri Hall.<\/h2>

I am the creative director and graphic designer at Soleil Design; my goal is to make my clients shine \u2014 to be thrilled to hand out their business card; to be proud to send a prospect to their web site or to share their company message. When I read design industry magazines (HOW<\/em> has been my go-to for 20+ years), my favorite part is seeing how<\/strong> designers do their thing: their studio space, their computer set-up, their thought process, their project sketches, digital comps, final creation and<\/strong> how it helped the client.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff \u2026 and it fascinates me!
\nThis site is dedicated to that very thing \u2014 the behind-the-scenes process of graphic design for the curious and the DIYer.<\/p>\n

With over 20 years of print design experience (has it really been that long?!?) I\u2019ve seen a lot of great design \u2026 and a lot of poor, forgettable stuff.<\/p>\n

What makes good design good? I\u2019ll tell you \u2026 and I\u2019ll show you. Design is all around us and I love to use real world examples to show what works and what doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

With over 20 years of Illustrator (drawing) and Photoshop experience, and 12+ years of InDesign (page layout) experience, I can show you how to accomplish your project in the most efficient, highest quality way possible. If it\u2019s more than you want to tackle, I will do it for you. It can\u2019t get much easier than that.<\/p>\n
