Hi! I’m Tom.

My background includes print and web design, marketing, art direction, project management, copywriting and proofreading. This experience provides Soleil Design with a savvy understanding of marketing and image, and a keen interest in how language and layout are used to communicate a message.

After graduating with a BFA in what was then called Advertising Art from the University of North Texas in 1991, I joined the Creative Department at Dr Pepper, where I quite enjoyed learning from the many talented designers, not to mention drinking all the free, tasty beverages.

From there, I continued my career working for a wide range of companies in a several capacities, with an eye to gaining all the skills I would need running my own design shop, which I was already building with the help of my talented wife Sheri.

I’ve worked for such companies as Frito Lay, J.C. Penney, a direct marketing company, a catalog design and publishing house, and eventually Intelemedia, a software and web solutions provider, where I served as webmaster and senior graphic designer.

In 1997 I joined Sheri full time at Soleil Design, bringing my enthusiastic networking and sales talents to bear on behalf of our graphic and web design studio.

With a focus on web interface design and a positive user experience, I think this Internet thing just may catch on, and have helped companies and organizations of every stripe win friends and influence folks.

My passions include identity development and brand consistency, providing solutions crafted to a client’s unique needs, and watching those clients achieve success and happiness!
